A Corpse in the Louvre
1958, Paris, post-war era. In one of the city’s most famous landmarks, the Paris Louvre, Valérie La Voyante, an indispensable art historian for many years, invites guests to a reception. Champagne is served, small canapés are handed around by waiters in waistcoats and ties, because the entire haute société of the city would not miss such an event.
Mesdames et Messieurs of this refined, exclusive, art-savvy circle meet here to discuss and philosophize about ancient and contemporary art. Everyone celebrates exuberantly until Madame La Voyante announces the surprising news that the famous “Mona Lisa” is not genuine. Outrage ripples through the crowd. The police are called to get to the bottom of it.
Once the initial shock has worn off, a second scandalous piece of news follows immediately: a corpse! A corpse in the Louvre! Who would have thought it possible? But at this murder mystery dinner, anything is conceivable, because the culprit is still in the building.
It is therefore up to you to solve this case, as the local police are still busy trying to locate the “Mona Lisa.” Are you ready for this mystery puzzle?
